Design
A visualization in the planning phase often helps to give an impression of what the overall picture can look like and what is necessary for it. There are now many and good programs to visualize light designs. I've been using WYSIWYG for many years. At that time it was the first visualization software that was not only useful for pre-programming but also offered many options for planning.
In the meantime, I use the program less for the many reports, such as electricity calculation, weight calculation or article status, and more for a pre-visualization and overview plan.

About me
I've been self-employed since 2001 as a "sound technician & lighting technician" and since 2007 a state-certified event technician.
Over the many years I have gained my experience and skills in almost all areas of the industry. From the beginning I was interested in light and that is what I have specialized in.
The many design possibilities with light to change a room, to build up tension or to support music with light make it so interesting for me. There are no limits to creativity and every event, location, every customer, content and artist make it possible to redesign the "shows" again and again.
My experience has grown over the years and I have learned about every facet of lighting. Starting with the event technology, company events, conferences, openings, presentations, to theater with art and culture, opera, musicals to rock & pop concerts, classical concerts, or festivals with a DJ line-up, open air shows, tours, but also film and television productions.
I started as a freelance helper and trained as a system technician by “learning by doing”. After that I became the "Head of Light" (technical director of lighting) and was familiar with the planning and implementation of large and complex shows. In addition, I have of course also programmed and supervised small and medium-sized shows on the podium.
Since TV light and film lighting have always been of interest to me, I have specialized in camera-compatible white light and show light for a long time.
